The Scanbio group of companies is headquartered in Trondheim, Norway and has three production plants; standard fish meal and fish oil from Milpro in Batsfjord on the Barents Sea, wild caught fish protein concentrate and fish oil from Scanbio Bjugn and salmon/trout protein concentrate and oil from Scanbio Lysoysund on the Atlantic coast. The Bjugn sales office caters for the local Norwegian market and the Fort William Scotland office looks after export sales and overseas distributors.
Scanbio annual production produce around 30,000 metric tons per annum of fish protein concentrate and around 20,000 metric tons of fish oil. Milpro produce around 40,000 tons of LT meal and 15,000 tons of fish oil.
